PERINTON TOPS SCHEDULED TO CLOSE FOR REMODELING

Pharmacy to Relocate Temporarily

Willilamsville, NY The Perinton Tops Market located at 6720 Pittsford/Palmyra Road will close temporarily for a $6 million remodeling project on May 29, 2004. The project, which was announced on April 29th is proceeding on schedule, with a planned reopening in late summer. The remodeled store will reopen as a Super Tops, the first in the area, with many added features and offerings for consumers.

As an added convenience to customers, the Tops Pharmacy located inside the Perinton store will relocate to a vacant storefront within the same plaza. "Our pharmacy customers will continue to have their prescription filled with little change to their usual routine, " stated Mike Davidson, regional vice president. "Our goal was to provide as little inconvenience as possible and we very happy that we are able to provide service with virtually no disruption."

Construction updates will be made available to customers throughout the process.
