Williamsville, N.Y. –Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, is pleased to promote Lenny Smith to director, decision support & pricing.

For the past 23 years, Lenny has been with Tops Friendly Markets, most recently serving in the capacity of director of decision support. In this new role, Lenny and his team will provide knowledge and skills across the decision support and pricing function to a “best practice” level, with an emphasis on analytics, computer systems, merchandising, and retail operations practices. Lenny’s extensive experience in operations (as a frozen foods manager, health & beauty care manager, non –perishable operations manager, and store manager,) along with his analytical acumen to a myriad of special projects over his years at Tops, makes him the ideal person to lead these newly combined teams.

A graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio with a degree in marketing, Lenny also received his MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He and his family are residents of Lockport, NY.
