Williamsville, N.Y. – Today, associates at the Tops in Erie, PA (1702 East 38th Street) celebrated a milestone by opening their time capsule. While store manager, Brian Kuhl was not there 25 years ago when the store first opened, he is still proud of this store, the team members, and thankful for the communities support. In a speech to associates and letter that will go back in the time capsule, Brian praised his team.

"Although I have not been here anywhere close to 25 years, I am very proud of all that you do,” said Brian. “We have associates that range from 25 years to one day here at our store and it makes me very proud to see how each and every person contributes towards the success of our store.”

Unfortunately the contents of the capsule suffered water damage aside from a mug, but it did not dampen the spirits of the Tops team members who gathered in a socially distant manor to celebrate this milestone with some celebratory cake. The team will refill the capsule with items from 2020, reseal it, and replace it in the wall for it to be reopened in 2045.
