(Williamsville, NY) – Ah – how sweet it is. Literally. This time of year always brings the kid, and sweet tooth, out in all of us as we fondly remember those days when we eagerly went door to door to gather candy from our neighbors only to come home and pour over our bounty. Even as adults our eyes widen just a little bit more as we enter the grocery store and see the vast array of sweet treats that greet us this time of year as we prepare to welcome the next generation of Trick-or-Treaters at our doorsteps. But in 2020 the idea of leaving our light on for cute little ghosts and goblins has shifted and new ways to celebrate one of the most anticipated holidays of the year in a socially distant way are coming to the forefront. Contactless candy shoots made out of decorative PVC pipe where children can place their bags are seen all over social media and the idea of trunk or treats have come back into fashion. At Tops we’re keeping the spirit of Halloween alive with Boo-ing! What’s Boo-ing you may ask? Think of it like paying it forward, trick-or-treat style. Simply decide who you want to Boo, put together a fun Boo-kit full of fun treats with anything from candy, to great fall treats like cider and donuts, and secretly drop it off on their doorstep! Surprise your friends, family members, neighbors too! Going to school? Why not Boo that special teacher who could use an extra smile or two. There’s no limit as to who can get Boo-ed!

Need inspiration? At Tops we have great ideas to help you and your family get creative this Halloween from scavenger egg hunts with a Halloween flare, to dropping off spooky cookie making kits at friends’ houses and pre-packed candy bags, to creative fun treats like Boo Kabobs and PB&J Spider Sandwiches to make for your favorite little monsters to enjoy at home.
