| TOPS FRIENDLY MARKETS ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS AND WELCOMES NEW TOPS TEAM MEMBERS | |
| Williamsville, N.Y. –Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, is pleased to not announce both associate promotions and welcome Tops team members. Taylor Burley has joined the team as a retail operations technical specialist for the Buffalo, NY region. Taylor will be responding to service calls and performing on-site repairs for all Tops in-store technology hardware needs. Before joining the Tops team, Taylor worked at Aero Instruments & Avionics, where his focus was on commercial air transport and regional category aircrafts. He worked on some of the most advanced avionics testing and repairs with a focus on trouble shooting cock pit instruments and equipment. Taylor resides with his wife in Kenmore, NY. Adam Sleezer has been promoted to category support coordinator. He is responsible for providing administrative support to Tops category business managers in the areas of ad and item accuracy, reporting, pricing, and inventory control. Adam began his career in the grocery industry while working for Hannaford in 2011 both on the front end and eventually worked as a bookkeeper. In 2019 he joined the Northville, NY Tops location as an assistant grocery manager. Adam is from Gloverville, NY. Sherri Myers has been promoted to cash sales audit clerk. Sherri will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating all cash sheets and paid out slips from the stores. In addition, she will conduct weekly audits of paperwork, analyze anomalies, will be investigating EFT (credit/debit card) disputes, and backing up the cash sales audit supervisor. Previously, Sherri worked at the Grand Island Tops location as a cashier and was later promoted to assistant office manager. Sherri and her husband reside in Grand Island, NY. Stan Alexander joins the Tops team as the grocery warehouse supervisor. In this role Stan will ensure quality and on-time delivery to customers, oversee new items and seasonal change overs, ensure compliance of sanitation guidelines by warehouse employees, monitor employee relations and handle employee concerns, assist with training new hires, oversee the daily actions of employees including performance management and ensure all employees are in compliance with safety policies. Stan holds an Associate’s degree from Bryant & Stratton College in Business Administration and he most recently worked as a homicide detective with the Portsmouth Police Department in Virginia. Stan and his family are residents of Batavia, NY. Tops welcomes Kyle Hausle to the Tops team as the new transportation router. In this role Kyle will route store orders in the most efficient way possible while under time and accuracy constraints, route cross-dock orders from vendor portal, accommodate special store requests as needed, as well as notify completion of routing files so warehouse operations can meet departure times for on-time store arrival among other tasks. Kyle holds a Bachelor’s degree in logistics from The University of Tennessee and is currently a licensed real estate salesperson. Kyle is a resident of East Amherst, NY.
