| HAMBURG, NY TOPS FRIENDLY MARKETS RECEIVES HIGH HONORS FROM STARBUCKS NEWLY OPENED LOCATION WAS UNAN | |
| WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tops is pleased to announce that Starbucks Corporate division has recognized the Tops associates at its brand new Starbucks location, housed inside Tops Hamburg, NY location (6150 South Park Ave.) with its first quarter Team award. Each quarter the district managers for Starbucks in the Pennsylvania as well as Western New York regions select a store for consideration based on excellence in the following areas: • Store Operations • Customer Experience • Sales & Transactions • Community Involvement • Brand Support & Engagement After all nominations are submitted, a team of 10 District Managers representing over 200 locations vote on one winner. We are proud to say that the Tops Hamburg Team was a unanimous choice! Each associate will receive a pin and a framed certificate for this honor. “We could not be more proud of the hard work and dedication our team members have put forth to make this Starbucks the success that it is,” said Tops store manager, Jeff Winter. “We knew this location would be a destination for this community, all while enhancing our shoppers overall shopping experience. The state of the art design has enticed shoppers to try the wide array of offerings that Starbucks enthusiasts love. From their full menu of coffee and teas and Nitro drinks, to their full assortment of bakery, merchandise, and snack items, our in-store location has it all.” Shoppers at the Hamburg location are able to buy Starbucks merchandise including drinkware, whole bean coffee and pods, as well as earn Starbucks rewards (including Star Challenges). Customers are even able to make purchases with their Starbucks Mobile App! The coffeehouse will be open from 6:00 am -8:00 pm so that shoppers as well as associates can enjoy a beverage or food item throughout the course of their day. The Hamburg location opened its doors in August of 2020, marking it the second franchise agreement that Tops has made with Starbucks since 2016. A third location opened in fall 2020 inside the Tops Market at 65 Grey Street in East Aurora, NY.
