Williamsville, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, is pleased to announce the promotion of Gabriella ‘Gabe’ D’Amico to staff internal auditor. Gabe is responsible for assisting with the execution of internal reviews to evaluate and report on internal control processes in accordance with accepted professional standards. This includes but is not limited to assisting with the identification of risks and development of test plans, executing and documenting the result of those plans and reporting results.

Gabe started working for Tops Markets in 1995 at the 1601 Penfield Rd. location in Rochester, NY. There she has worked her way up through the ranks from cashier, and customer service lead, to working at the service desk and in the office. After college she was promoted to a customer service manager, manager on duty, customer operations manager, operations manager and most recently, to assistant store manager at the Tops located at 999 East Ridge Rd. in Irondequoit, NY. Gabe lives in Walworth, NY with her family.
