Williamsville, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets is proud to celebrate 25 years in the Rochester community at their 285 Upper Falls Blvd. location. As part of their long history and commitment to the City of Rochester, Tops has reinvested in the community by renovating this location. It will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening of the store on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:00 am. This store, centrally located in the heart of the city near The University of Rochester Department of Biomedical Engineering, Rochester Educational Opportunity Center, The Eastman School of Music, and the George Eastman House, serves a cross population of the community. This renovation marks the 26th location recently updated with a new look and a renewed focus on fresh departments. This store will offer new, enhanced services, an expanded assortment of products, and an enhanced fresh perimeter with new updated décor. This store has been refreshed for a new experience which includes repaved parking lot and renovated lobby and restrooms, LED lighting both inside and out, solar powered efficiencies, an M&T Bank for convenience, new self-check outs, and new interior décor. Store Manager, Steve Geer, said he and his team are working hard every day to make life easier for their shoppers by focusing on affordable, easy-to-prepare meal options as well as providing some new additions. “When it comes to freshness, convenience and variety, you'll find everything here at your newly remodeled Rochester store. Among the changes we’re proudest of our new Bakery which offers specialty cakes and freshly baked breads. We’re also offering customers a wider selection of domestic and imported cheeses, fresh, custom cut meats by real butchers, and a focus on fresh.”

He invites the community to visit during the Grand Re-Opening celebration and even have the chance to win some great prizes like $1,000 in Tops gift cards for food and fuel, free meat for a year at Tops, and $250 Tops shopping spree!

As you continue through the store you’ll notice an expansion of areas including specialty cheeses, soups and pastas offering your family a variety of choices. Tops expanded bakery offers an assortment of freshly baked breads, pastries, specialty cakes, frozen cake varieties, sweets and breakfast items like Danishes, bagels, and muffins. We now have a fresh cake case, as well as pies, cupcakes, pound cakes, and brownies too.

From the moment you walk in you’ll feel the freshness in the expanded produce area complete with items of the season including fresh cut veggies, fruit, and trays, carefully selected, washed, cut, and prepared for quick and easy ready-to-serve convenience. Clinton Ave. Firehouse • Rochester Police Department: Do the Right Thing Program • YWCA While all of these organizations make an incredible impact on our community year round, we especially find it impactful to make a contribution to Ibero Early Childhood Services during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15.) This division provides a challenging and nurturing learning environment that enhances children's development and meets family needs. Services are provided for children from six weeks to 12 years of age. The Ibero Early Childhood Center is nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). ### Based in Williamsville, NY, Tops Markets currently operates 150 grocery stores in New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont, including five that are run by franchisees.
