WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, is once again teaming up with the Boy Scouts for its annual Scouting for Food event. This year, the Boy Scouts of America - Greater Niagara Frontier Council's Scouting for Food program “Fill the Tent” event will take place at seven area Tops locations where Scout’s will kindly ask customers to make an additional purchase of non-perishable food items, which the customers can drop off on their way out.

Gary Decker, CEO of the Greater Niagara Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America said, “We are pleased to once again partner with Tops on this critically important program to help address hunger and the food deficit in our community. Scouting for Food helps teach our Scouts the importance of serving others and giving back to their community, while also providing needed support for children and families.”

Donations can be dropped off on Saturday April 22, 2023 at the following Tops locations: From 10:00 am-1:00 pm: 3201 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park 2351 Maple Rd., Amherst 2101 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo 390 W. Main St., N. Tonawanda

From 10:00 am – 4:00 pm 906 Center St., Lewiston

From 1:00-4:00 pm 355 Orchard Park Rd., West Seneca 890 Young St., Tonawanda “At Tops we are committed to eradicating hunger and enhancing the quality of life for children through education and by way of this food drive, we are not only educating our children about the importance of giving back and helping those less fortunate, but we are engaging them as well with each donation they help collect through their commitment with the Boy Scouts,” said Kathy Sautter, director of corporate communications and public relations for Tops Friendly Markets.
