TOPS MARKETS ASSISTS IN HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF EFFORT
Buffalo, NY - Beginning today, Tops Markets will partner with the American Red Cross to raise much needed funds to assist in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. At the check-out, customers will have the opportunity to make a $1 donation to the American Red Cross. All proceeds will go directly to aid the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief effort.

"The tragedy left in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina is unprecedented in U.S. history," said Denny Hopkins, vice president of advertising and public relations, Tops Markets. "Together with the support of our customers, we look forward to helping those who have been devastated by this natural disaster."

Tops will continue this campaign on behalf of the American Red Cross through September 17 at all of its locations.
