TOPS KICKS OFF FOOTBALL SEASON IN WESTERN NEW YORK WITH 2ND ANNUAL SLIDER SHOWDOWN
(Williamsville, NY) - No one does tailgating quite like Buffalonians and Tops is exited to team up with local media celebrities to see what creative concoctions they can create in Tops’ 2nd Annual Slider Showdown on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 pm at the Tops located at 3980 Maple Road in Amherst, NY.

The public is encouraged to come down and cheer on their favorite local celebrity teams as they cook up their creation in just 40 minutes from a secret bag of ingredients. Teams will be provided with individual bags upon arrival each containing different core ingredients provided by our vendor partners as well as have access to a pantry of additional ingredients to doctor up their creations. Each team will have 40 minutes to create the most creative, tasty, eye appealing sliders, complete with a name, for our judges to rank.

The winning team will win $500 for a charity of their choosing as well as Tops gift cards, and bragging rights.

Our MVP judges include:

• Sal Cappacio – Sports Journalist, WGR Sport Radio 550AM

• SupChef – With over 1M followers, Chef Alexander Dispence knows a thing or two about making the perfect game day creations

• Del Reid- Owner, 26 Shirts

• Ron Ferri – President of Tops Friendly Markets

Don’t have a team representing your brand? Be sure to register with Kathy Sautter by the deadline of Friday, September 8 at ksautter@topsmarkets.com to be included in the roster!
