AS DEADLINE LOOMS FOR NYS DMV VISION TESTS TOPS REMINDS DRIVERS OF MOTOR VEHICLE VISION TESTS
WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – As many New Yorkers are realizing they may be unable to renew their driver’s license due to an expired vision test, Tops Friendly Markets reminds drivers that our pharmacies are authorized administrators of the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles' Vision test. Due to COVID, many DMV tests were postponed, but these tests requirements were not cancelled.

The DMV’s website notes that those impacted were those whose license expired between March 1, 2020 through August 31, 2021. If a vision test is NOT submitted to the DMV by December 1st, 2023, your license will be suspended.

Unsure if you’re impacted? Visit the DMV’s website and engage in the system’s online chat services.
