| TOPS REINVESTS IN BALDWINSVILLE STORE WITH $2.2 MILLION STORE REMODEL | |
| (Williamsville, NY) - Tops Friendly Markets has completed a $2.2 million remodel of its store at 2265 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY. The project is part of Tops’ ongoing, multi-year Capital Improvement Plan, which the company has invested approximately more than $110 million invested across its three-state imprint operating area to modernize stores and enhance the customer experience. Tops will celebrate the grand re-opening with a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., welcoming customers, community members, and local officials to tour the renovated store. We will also be providing local non-profits in our community with $1,000 in Tops gift cards to support their cause. “This remodel reflects our continued commitment to our customers and the communities we serve,” said Ron Ferri, president of Tops Friendly Markets. “By reinvesting in another store in Baldwinsville, we’re delivering a more modern, convenient shopping experience while continuing to offer great value.” The over 50,000-square-foot store has undergone a comprehensive renovation, featuring updated awnings, new building signage, and fresh exterior paint, along with a parking lot and landscaping refresh. Inside, the store showcases enhanced décor and interior paint, new LED lighting, a complete center store reset, in lobby bottle redemption center, and fully renovated restrooms. Customers will experience significant upgrades across key departments, including an expanded Produce department with new cases and display fixtures; an enhanced Deli and Carry-Out Café featuring Marketplace Deli, Meals to Go, and prepared sushi; and an expanded Bakery with daily and specialty cakes. Additional highlights include a refreshed fuel station, new Healthy Hydration and Health & Natural/Organic offerings, cheese shoppe, and improved overall store layout designed to enhance the shopping experience. Customers will also find convenient services including Instacart Pickup and Delivery, DoorDash Delivery, order-ahead meals and catering, the Flashfood® app, and a full-service Pharmacy. The fuel station has been upgraded with new Gilbarco fuel pumps featuring PCI- and EMV-compliant touchscreen technology, a 3D barcode reader for Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, and Samsung Pay®, and nine-inch interactive screen highlighting savings opportunities.
