BUFFALO'S OWN WING KING AND TOPS MARKETS TO BE FEATURED ON FOOD NETWORK SHOW | |
Williamsville, NY - This week Buffalo's Wing King Drew Cerza and TOPS Markets will be in the national spotlight among food enthusiasts. Chosen by Food Network's world famous Chef Bobby Flay, Cerza and TOPS Markets will be featured on the show Throwdown with Bobby Flay airing on Thursday, June 14 at 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 17 at 4 p.m. on The Food Network. In April, the Food Network was in town filming for two full days at various locations throughout Buffalo. One of Cerza's wing demonstrations took place at the TOPS Markets Cooking School within the store located at 3980 Maple Road in Amherst. In the show Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Flay selects a type of food and then selects whom he considers the master chef in the selected food category and challenges that person to a cook-off challenge or "throwdown." The catch is that each cook thinks Food Network is shooting their profile for a show, not knowing that Flay will be dropping in for a surprise visit and to challenge them to an unexpected cook-off.
