TOPS MARKETS KICKS OFF ANNUAL BALLOON CAMPAIGN FOR CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK | |
Williamsville, NY - TOPS Markets and Martin's Super Food Stores are once again joining forces with their customers and associates for local children's hospitals in their operating areas with its annual in-store balloon campaign. For just a $1.00 donation, TOPS and Martin's customers can show their support for Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at the checkout with the purchase of a paper balloon. "We are truly committed to supporting the hospitals in our operating areas so they can continue to provide outstanding medical care for our children," said Max Henderson, EVP/general manager. "Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our customers and associates, we were able to raise $195,033 to support the services of the Children's Miracle Network. We extend a heartfelt thank you to all who helped contributed to our CMN campaign last year." TOPS will be selling paper balloons for $1 beginning June 24 through July 7 with 100% of the funds raised locally staying local by being donated to the nearest Children's Miracle Network hospital, including Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo, Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong in Rochester, Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, Golisano Children's Hospital at University Hospital in Syracuse, Janet Weis Children's Hospital at Geisinger in Wilkes Barre, PA and St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA. As a donation thank you, customers who purchase a CMN balloon will receive a $1.00 off coupon for any flavor of TOPS ice cream (56 oz.) or any flavor sherbet (32 oz.). Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America.
