TOPS MARKETS CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH
WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets, the leading full-service grocery retailer in Western New York, Central New York, including Rochester, and Northwestern Pennsylvania, is once again proud to celebrate Black History Month.

The 2010 Black History Month theme; “Profiles in Excellence-Black Historians” highlights the life-work and achievements of various African Americans. Throughout the month of February, customers will have the opportunity to learn about these African American Historians/Pioneers through in store displays and bookmark give-a-ways.

President Barack Obama, Oscar De Priest, Mahalia Jackson, and Bill Pickett are just a few of the achievers that will be highlighted in Tops stores. African American historians/ pioneers have been and continue to be influential in the development of America. Tops Markets believes in promoting their life, legacy and achievements for all of our customers to celebrate in.
