In his new role, Patti will be directly responsible for the growth and development of 59 Tops Markets-operated stores, including all stores in Rochester, Syracuse and Central New York. Immediate duties include facilitating operations for the integration of newly acquired Penn Traffic stores.

“Mike is no stranger to the operations of this company,” said John Persons, Senior Vice President of Operations for Tops Markets. “With over 37 years of experience with Tops, Mike is a valued asset within the company, and we are glad to have him take on these expanded responsibilities.”

Patti, a lifetime resident of West Seneca, NY, most recently served as District Manager for 10 Tops locations within Western New York. As District Manager, Patti was responsible for overseeing the entire operation of all stores within his district. Previous to becoming a District Manager, Patti served as a Store Manager for multiple stores over the course of 15 years.

Throughout his 37 years of service, Patti oversaw the grand openings of two company flagship Tops Markets stores. He was named Store Manger of the Year in 1993 by Tops, and in 2001, Patti was a member of a select group of Tops management chosen to participate in a two week management development training program in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
