TOPS AND THE BUFFALO BILLS AWARD LUCKY FAN FREE GROCERIES FOR A YEAR THROUGH TEXT-2-WIN PROMOTION
Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in Western New York, Central New York, including Rochester, and Northwestern Pennsylvania, today announced that Denise Iannarelli of Blasdell, N.Y. is the winner of the TOPS Text-2-Win sweepstakes in conjunction with the Buffalo Bills 50th Anniversary season. As the official supermarket of the Buffalo Bills, Tops introduced a new promotion whereby fans sent a text message with a special code received at Buffalo Bills home games to be entered to win one of five weekly prizes, or the grand prize of free groceries for a year valued at $5,200.

Tops awarded Ms. Iannarelli at Tops Friendly Markets located at 4250 McKinley Parkway in Hamburg, NY.

The Text-To-Win promotion is the first of its kind for a grocer in the area. Individuals received one entry each time they sent, via text message, one of the following words: BILLS, SHOUT, TAILGATE, TOPS, WIN, FOOD OR GROCERY, to a specified code following each game during the Buffalo Bills regular season. In total, nearly 40,000 text messages were sent by participants throughout the promotion.
