Store management and associates working quickly to repair damage and restock lost items

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania, announced today that its Randolph store, located at 51 Main Street suffered damages due to the tornado that blew through Cattaraugus and Chautauqua County on Saturday evening. The store team is working quickly to return the store to normal operating conditions.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 24 the Tops location in Randolph, NY sustained damages from the storm including window, roof, and interior and water damage. For the safety of associates and customers, the store was closed shortly after the storm came through. The store reopened at approximately 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and resumed operation. No one was injured as a result of the storm.

Tops’ operations teams are continuing to assess the situation and are working quickly to repair any damage that was sustained. The store will remain open as the Tops team continues to re-stock lost items and repair the facility. The Randolph location will have all items available to customers later in the week.
