TOPS NESTLE AND SYRACUSE FOOTBALL PRESENT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF CNY WITH DONATION | |
Williamsville, NY – Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania, in partnership with Nestle USA and Syracuse University Football, today presented the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York with a donation of $2,300 in Tops Markets gift cards and 161 cases of Juicy Juice fun size juices. As part of the “Juice in the ‘Cuse” charitable campaign, for every touchdown scored at the Carrier Dome by the Syracuse University football team during the regular 2011 football season, Tops donated $100 in Tops Markets gift cards and Nestle USA donated seven cases of Juicy Juice fun size juices to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York. “At Tops, we believe in improving the lives of children,” said Kathleen Allen, Tops manager of community relations. “We decided our “Juice in the ‘Cuse” campaign would best serve the Ronald McDonald House by supplying food and drink as they embark on opening their new larger facility to serve more families in central New York.” Today’s presentation to the Ronald McDonald House was made by representatives from Tops Markets, Nestle USA and Syracuse Football, including head coach Doug Marrone at the Nottingham Road Tops Markets. The Nottingham Road Tops Markets features a Syracuse University Athletics theme, making it the only grocery store in the northeast with university-themed décor throughout the store.
