$4 million renovation gives Brighton shoppers more variety; better shopping experience |

| WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania and northern Vermont, today held a grand re-opening celebration to mark the completion of a major renovation of its Brighton, NY Friendly Markets located at 1900 Clinton Ave. S. in the Town of Brighton. This $4 million renovation includes a 4,000 total square foot expansion, providing customers with many interior improvements, upgraded departments and an expanded product variety. Grand opening ceremonies featured the participation of Paul Cassella, store manager, Frank Curci, Tops president and CEO, the Brighton store team and local dignitaries and community leaders. Community donations were made to local not-for-profit organizations including the Brighton Fire Department, Brighton Police Department, Brighton Memorial Libray, Chabad Lubavitch of Rochester, Brighton Food Cupbord and Jewish Family Service if Rochester. “In order to continue to provide the best possible service to the Brighton community, this store was identified as a location in need of a major remodel,” said Frank Curci, Top president and CEO. “We are proud that the store’s new and improved features provide an increased selection of products, easier navigation, and an overall better shopping experience.” Specific changes include new décor throughout the entire 42,546 square-foot store with a fresh, new feel. Brighton shoppers will see major upgrades to produce, meat and seafood, bakery, and dairy departments as well as an enhanced healthy, natural and organic section and expanded bulk section. Shoppers will enjoy an enhanced and expanded Marketplace Cafe area where they can find delicious prepared foods including an olive and chicken wing bar, fresh salad bar, Panini case, and hot buffet as well as a 40-person seating area with Wi-Fi for customer convenience.The Brighton store has added an extensive refrigerated and frozen kosher foods section as well.
