| TOPS FRIENDLY MARKETS BEGINS REMODEL OF PORT HENRY, NY STORE | |
| Williamsville, NY…Tops Friendly Markets announced today that a remodel is underway for its Port Henry, NY location. Work on the store, located at 4308 Main Street, began this week and is targeted for completion in early June. The remodel, a $100,000 dollar investment, is the fourth Adirondack-area project for Tops this year. Tops will install a new meat case, offering customers greater convenience along with a fresh new look. The brand-new 5-shelf unit will make it easier for customers to locate the products they are looking for. In addition to the new meat case, the store interior will be getting fresh paint, the floor will undergo some minor repairs, and Tops’ updated store décor package will be installed. Throughout the remodeling process, the store will maintain its normal hours of operation – 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. This is the first remodel of the Port Henry site in more than a decade. Tops acquired the location in 2001 when it purchased 22 former Grand Union stores.
