| Williamsville, N.Y. –Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, is pleased to promote Matthew Hamed to director of pharmacy for TOPS. Hamed joined the TOPS team in 2009 where he was a floater in the pharmacy departments in the Rochester district. Over the years he has also served as a staff pharmacist, pharmacy manager, medication therapy management pharmacist, and was most recently promoted to regional pharmacy manager for the west region of TOPS in 2015. Hamed was serving as the interim director of pharmacy since January 2018. Hamed earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy from SUNY Buffalo in 2009.
