Two Local Tops Markets To Sponsor Fund Raising Events For Juvenile Diabetes Foundation

Buffalo, NY- Tops Markets announced today that two local Buffalo area stores will be sponsoring fundraising events to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The stores, located at 425 Niagara Street in the City of Buffalo and at 9660 Transit Road in East Amherst, will both sponsor separate events. Niagara Street Tops holds "Bowl to Beat Juvenile Diabetes" Tops Niagara Street store will hold a Bowling Tournament, Bowl To Beat Juvenile Diabetes, on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Transit Lanes. Friends and family are welcome to participate and each team must consist of both two males and three females or vice versa. Teams will be chosen on a first come first serve basis and all are eligible for door prizes with the first place team winning $100.00. Teams interested in joining may send a $50.00 ($10.00 per person) money order to Transit Lanes, Inc., 7850 Transit Road, Williamsville, NY 14221. Fantasy Casino and Pasta Buffet Coming in May The North French and Transit Road store will be sponsoring a Fantasy Casino and Pasta Buffet night at the Main and Transit Fire Hall, located at 6777 Main Street in Williamsville, on Friday, May 14, 2004 from 5-9pm. Tickets for this event may be purchased at the East Amherst store for $6.00 pre-sale or $8.00 at the event. The night will include various Vegas-Style games such as Black Jack, Roulette and Let It Ride, including casino slot machines. There will be prize giveaways, a silent and live auction, 50/50 Raffle and live music.
